LCHS marching band takes second overall at Dwight

[Sept. 21, 2005]  LINCOLN -- The Lincoln Community High School Marching Band competed at the Dwight Competition this past Sunday. The band finished second overall to Washington. The band did achieve first place in music execution, percussion, and drum major categories.

Remaining competitions are October 1 at Mt. Zion and October 8 at Metamora.

The marching band will also perform at halftime of the remaining home football games on September 23 and October 7. The program for this year is Mangione Magic. The band is under the direction of David Swaar.
