[SEPT. 30, 2005]  NORMAL -- Thirteen area high schools and 376 high school students will be participating and performing in the seventh annual Young Men in Harmony/Young Women in Harmony Fall Festival at Illinois State University on Tuesday. The evening performance at 7 is free to the public and will be in the Center for Performing Arts auditorium on the ISU campus.

The all-day event, sponsored by the Illinois District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, helps expose high school choral students to a cappella music. The students learn vocal technique and production while learning four songs to perform on the evening show.

This year's featured guests will be Vocal Spectrum, the 2004 international collegiate barbershop quartet champions.

Area schools represented will be Olympia, Heyworth, Mount Zion, Champaign Centennial, Champaign Central, Flannagan, Chatham Glenwood, Argenta, Bloomington, Urbana and Woodland.
