Robert and Virginia Cline

[APRIL 1, 2006]  Robert Eugene Cline and Virginia Ruth Ventress were married April 28, 1946, in Springfield.

The couple lived in Mount Pulaski for over 50 years and recently moved to Longview, Texas. They also have a winter residence in Naples, Fla.

Robert is a retired lieutenant from the Illinois State Police force. Ruth was a loving and content homemaker, also doing beautiful work as a seamstress and artist.

The Clines have three daughters: Sue in Minnesota, Sandy in Colorado and Lynn in Texas. They have three grandchildren.

They will be celebrating with friends and family on April 28 at the Summit Club 2 in Longview, Texas.
