[APRIL 1, 2006]  Lincoln Christian College will break ground Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a new women's dormitory. The dormitory will be a three-story, 284-bed complex. The projected cost is $6.25 million, and the project will be completed in the summer of 2007, with occupancy scheduled for the fall semester in 2007.

"With LCC's focus on the future and the momentum of enrollment and planning, one of the next logical steps is additional and enhanced housing for our students," said Lincoln Christian College President Keith Ray. "We are excited about our future and look forward to the continued partnership with the community of Lincoln."

Brian Mills and the student development team of Lincoln Christian College are overseeing the construction by P.J. Hoerr of Normal. The project has been financed by Logan County Bank of Lincoln.
