U of I Extension offers April food pantry class

[APRIL 25, 2006]  The University of Illinois Extension in Logan County is offering a free monthly class for food pantry clients. The April class will be on Thursday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

Those attending the food pantry class will learn about using commodity foods, learn new recipes and be included in a drawing for gift certificates to the New Beginnings Thrift Shop. Food items will also be distributed to all those who attend.
