The weekend events will start with a wine and cheese reception at
McKinstry Memorial Library from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday. Guests
will meet Lincoln College's new president, John Hutchinson, along
with his wife, Jean Ann. Cost for the reception is $10 per person.
On Saturday morning a 5K run and noncompetitive one-mile walk
called Run, Ramble and Roll will start at 10 a.m. Check-in is at
Meyer-Evans Student Center and the cost is $25 per person. Each
participant receives a T-shirt and post-race brunch. All race
finishers receive a medal. Proceeds from the race will go to Lincoln
College's scholarship fund.
A new activity for alumni to enjoy during this year's alumni
weekend is a lecture series featuring Lincoln College faculty and
administration speaking on a variety of topics. The lectures start
at 1 p.m. and will run until 3:45 p.m. at various campus locations.
An alumni dinner and awards program is scheduled for Saturday in
the Meyer-Evans Student Center. An opening reception for Lincoln
College alumni and friends will start at 5 p.m., and the buffet
dinner will begin at 6:15. A program to honor alumni achievement,
honorary alumni status, the golden anniversary class of 1956 and the
silver anniversary class of 1981 will immediately follow the dinner.
This year's reunion also honors the classes of 1941, 1946, 1951,
1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996 and 2001. The
cost for the alumni dinner and program is $30 per person.

The weekend will conclude with a Lincoln College alumni group
touring the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield. Cost
is $8 per person, which includes admission and transportation. The
group will depart from Davidson-Sheffer Gym at 9 a.m. and will
arrive back on campus at approximately 2 p.m.
