Junior high presents 'Luau for King Lear'   Send a link to a friend

[APRIL 26, 2006]  "Luau for King Lear" will be performed Friday and Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m., at Lincoln Junior High School.

The show is about a community theater group, the Peaceful Glen Memorial Players, who are in jeopardy of losing their stage. How can they save their theatrical home? Why not put the owner's daughter in charge of the next production! When she chooses to do "King Lear," she does not know that the setting will need to be in Hawaii to coordinate with the town's festival theme.

Zany characters and slapstick comedy will keep everyone laughing in this lighthearted look at community theater, both on and off stage.

Tickets are available at the door for $4 or from any member of the play.
