Atlanta native accepts Oklahoma State University position          Send a link to a friend

[AUG. 11, 2006]  ATLANTA -- Noah B. Litherland, son of Erwin and Kathy Litherland of rural Atlanta, recently completed his Ph.D. in animal science ruminant nutrition from the University of Illinois at Urbana. His dissertation was entitled "Hepatic lipid and glucose metabolism in transition dairy cows."

He has accepted a position as dairy extension specialist and livestock nutritionist at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla. He will also be coaching the dairy judging team.

Noah is married to Melissa and has a 17-month-old daughter, Nina, and another baby daughter expected in mid-September.

He graduated from Olympia High School in 1995.
