CIEDC cookbooks for sale          Send a link to a friend

[DEC. 8, 2006]  The 2007 CIEDC capital campaign, "Community Support for Community Action," kicks off this month, and the efforts to raise funds include a cookbook sale that began Dec. 5.

Staff, board members and friends of the agency have contributed over 200 recipes to create the cookbook. Funds raised by the cookbook will help supplement the community programs at CIEDC.

The cookbook is available for $10 at CIEDC headquarters, 1800 Fifth St. in Lincoln; at all outreach offices; and at The Mustard Moon in downtown Lincoln. To purchase a cookbook, individuals should contact their local Community Action office or the corporate headquarters at 217-732-2159.

"The cookbooks are perfect stocking stuffers and holiday gifts for only $10," said Angela Stoltzenburg, executive director. "And the funds raised go to great programs that are helping friends and neighbors in the community every day. We are very excited about this cookbook. We feel it's a great way to involve the community, and our staff had fun contributing to the book."
