Ellen M. Moore

[DEC. 30, 2006]  ELKHART -- Ellen M. Moore, 65, of Elkhart died at 4 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 2 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Rev. Thomas Taylor will preside.

A service will be conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Lincoln.

Burial will be in Carlyle Cemetery, Lake Fork.

Mrs. Moore was a bookkeeper at Lincoln Garment Factory, worked at Saint Gobain Containers and retired after 13 years from Holy Family Church, where she worked as the religious education secretary.

She was born to Charles and Mary Clevenger Lichtenwalter on Aug. 1, 1941 in Toledo, IL. She married Lloyd Moore, Jr. on Dec. 1, 1979 in Lake Fork.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd of Elkhart; two daughters, Sarah Moore of Richmond, VA and Amy Moore; two brothers, Ron (Merna) Lichtenwalter and Larry (Debra) Lichtenwalter of Lincoln and one sister, Joyce Lichtenwalter, also of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Lichtenwalter.

She was a member of Holy Family Church of Lincoln.

She belonged to the Holy Family Society and Union Local #117.

She was an avid cat lover.

Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
