[DEC. 30 2006]  LINCOLN -- A Lincoln residence will be featured in the New Year's Eve episode of reZONED on HGTV. This feature presents homes that have been created from previously public places.

Bob and Judi Orr remodeled the aged church at 829 Broadway, NW of the Lincoln/Logan County Safety Complex, in Lincoln for their current home.

The show that was taped last winter is airing for the first time this Sunday night. Other transformed residences that will be featured in the same episode are: Georgia Cotton Sorter, Virginia Wagon Wheel Factory, North Carolina Dairy Barn.

Descriptions of the residences featured:

  • Judy Knight transforms an Atlanta cotton warehouse into a wonderful family home.

  • Shay and Mark Borel's 1854 wagon wheel factory wasn't always the spectacular residence that it is now.

  •  With stained glass windows and no pigeons, Judy and Bob Orr's 1915 church is bathed in beautiful light.

  • Linda and Wayne Brocuglio turn a former dairy barn into 15,000 square feet of living space.

The show airs 6 – 6:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on Dec. 31, 2006.
