[FEB. 20, 2006]  The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce announced today that a forum and debate for Logan County Board candidates has been scheduled. The chamber's government-education committee and CITV5 are co-sponsoring the event, which is for the contested races in the March 21 primary.

The forum will be March 8 at 7:30 a.m. at Lincoln Christian College and Seminary's Warehouse Starbucks coffee shop.

Four districts have contested races in the primary election, and it is those candidates who have been invited to attend the forum. It will be filmed and aired on CITV5. However, people in attendance will have opportunity after the forum to interact with the candidates.

The chamber's government-education panel will pre-screen all questions. If you have an issue or question for a particular candidate or for candidates in general, please forward that question to chamber@lincolnillinois.com prior to March 8.
