Congratulations to Master Gardener graduates
Congratulations to Emily Kohl, Melane Coulter, David Baldin and
Jeanette Chamberlain, who have completed their trainee requirements
and have become University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners.
To become a Master Gardener, individuals must complete an intensive
training course, complete volunteer service requirements and agree
to participate in future projects.
Logan County is scheduled to have a local training session this
fall, with training beginning in September and ending around Dec. 1.
Weekly training sessions will be scheduled. Individuals completing
the training are then required to complete 60 hours of service
before becoming Master Gardeners. If you would like to be placed on
the contact list concerning the fall session, contact Don Miller at
the Extension office at 732-8289.
