Mason City's hometown metal band, Advocate, is
hosting a "Metal Bash" on Jan. 20 at the Mason City Firehouse. Doors
open at 6 p.m., with a lineup as follows: The Mourning After, The
Forthcoming, Estrus, Advocate, Justify the Means and Nonthought.
Admission is $8 at the door, with plenty of concessions on hand.
