Lincoln Christian Angels vs. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

[JAN. 25, 2006]  The Angels of Lincoln Christian College defeated the Pomeroys of St. Mary-of-the-Woods 68-52 Tuesday night at the Laughlin Center in Lincoln. LCC built a 37-20 edge in the first half and outscored St. Mary 32-31 in the second half.

The Angels, 9-7, were led by Kate Geisler with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Jodi Raymer had 10 points and Jessica Fender had five assists and eight points. The Pomeroys, 5-14, were led in scoring by Amber Lydick with 16, Ashley Riley with 12 and Jamie Elpers with 10.

The Angels will be in action again Thursday at 5:30 p.m., when they meet Northland Baptist.
