MOUNT ZION -- On Sunday, the Lincoln Youth
Wrestling Club participated in the Mount Zion Kids Open Tournament.
Max Koning was the Lincoln team's highest placer, with a third-place
finish in the 7- and 8-year-old group.

Also in the 7- and 8-year-old group, Christian Bennett placed
fourth, Brock Laubenstein placed fifth, and Austin Swarts and Andrew
Lawrence competed but did not place. Jacob Stauffer placed sixth
in the 6-and-under group.
In the 9- and 10-year-old group, James Kidd finished fourth, Luke
Koning grabbed fifth, Collin Antoine placed sixth, and DaRon Mauney
competed but did not place.
The team travels to Metamora next week.
