Blanche R. Hoelscher, 82, of Lincoln passed away at 2:35 a.m. on
July 2, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. |
Blance was born to Clifford and Katherine Kuerr
Bradway on July 29, 1923. She married Harold
Hoelscher on Dec. 12, 1948 in East Peoria. He
preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1992.
Blanche was a foster parent and a member of
Jefferson Street Christian Church.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6
at 1 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery with Craig Smith
presiding. Mrs. Hoelscher was cremated. There will
be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are being
made by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Lincoln.
Survivors include one daughter, Cheri Felton of
Lincoln; two grandsons, Chris (Michelle) Morrow of
Lincoln; Thomas Madigan of Hillsboro; three great
grandchildren, Tyler, Kristina and Maddie Morrow;
three sisters, Betty Lindig of Neoga, Alice Burton
of Monticello, Barb Beeler of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one
daughter, Brenda Madigan, one sister and four
brothers.
Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
