Peggy Lee Drummond

[JULY 3, 2006]  Peggy Lee Drummond, 52, of Lincoln died on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at 4:06 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service is scheduled on Friday, July 7, at 1 p.m. in Harmony Cemetery, Beason. The Rev. Jame Hahs will officiate. There will be no visitation. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

Peggy Lee was born to Walter and Norma Sutton Landers on Oct. 17, 1953, in Lincoln. She married Larry W. Drummond on July 1, 1972, in Pekin.

She worked as a stock clerk at Kroger in Lincoln and was a paper carrier for the Decatur Herald and Review newspaper.

Survivors include her husband, of Lincoln; two sons, Scott Drummond of Hampton, Va., and Christopher Drummond of Hazard, Ky.; two daughters, Jennifer (and Chris) O'Connor of Riverton and Stephanie Murphy of Lincoln; one brother, Walter (and Julie) Landers of Lawndale; one sister, Jean Landers of Lincoln; and 11 grandchildren.

Peggy Lee was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bev Kaesebier.

Memorials may be made to the family.
