Blanche R. Hoelscher, 82, of Lincoln
died Sunday,
July 2, 2006, at 2:35 a.m. at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Cemetery, with Craig Smith
in charge. Mrs. Hoelscher was cremated. There will
be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are being
made by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Lincoln. |

She was born to Clifford and Katherine Kuerr
Bradway on July 29, 1923. She married Harold Hoelscher on Dec. 12, 1948, in East Peoria. He
preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1992. Survivors include one daughter, Cheri Felton of
Lincoln; two grandsons, Chris (and Michelle) Morrow of
Lincoln and Thomas Madigan of Hillsboro; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kristina and Maddie Morrow;
and three sisters, Betty Lindig of Neoga, Alice Burton
of Monticello and Barb Beeler of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one
daughter, Brenda Madigan; one sister; and four
brothers.
Blanche was a foster parent and a member of
Jefferson Street Christian Church.
