Illinois Racing Board hearings set for next week          Send a link to a friend

[JULY 13, 2006]  CHICAGO -- The Illinois Racing Board has scheduled hearings to address the state of horse racing in Illinois. These hearings will address the difficulties and challenges confronting horse racing in the state. The hearings, chaired by John Simon, board commissioner, will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at the James R. Thompson Center and on July 24 at 160 N. LaSalle St., fifth floor. The hearings at the Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph, will be in Room 503, 16th floor. All of the hearings start at 10 a.m. and are open to the public.
