[JULY 20, 2006]  As a cold front slips southeast into the region Thursday afternoon and interacts with a very warm and unstable atmosphere, additional thunderstorms will develop, with the
primary threat again being straight-line wind damage and possibly some hail.

The threat for severe storms will begin to diminish from northwest to southeast after 8 p.m.

Spotter information statement

Spotter activation may be required from 3 until 9 p.m. across the entire area.
