Head Start preschool application opens     Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 8, 2006]  The CIEDC Head Start preschool program is currently accepting applications for the 2006-2007 program year. Head Start is a free preschool program for children 3-5 years old.

Head Start is designed to provide a variety of opportunities to help children develop socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally in an age-appropriate manner.

The Lincoln program operates two double sessions Monday through Thursday, 8:30-noon and noon-3:30, and a single session Monday through Friday five hours a day on a school-year basis. Transportation (for the double sessions only), nutritious snacks and lunches are provided. Children will also receive hearing, vision, speech and dental screenings.
