Mount Pulaski man injured in morning crash

[JUNE 15, 2006]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Ray Brian Wilson, 22, of Mount Pulaski sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries when his vehicle left the roadway at 6 a.m. on Thursday.

Wilson was approximately three miles south of Mount Pulaski, eastbound on Illinois Route 121, when for unknown reasons he lost control of his vehicle. He was driving a 1991 GEO Prizm.

Wilson was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

The vehicle was considered a total loss.

Illinois State Police, Logan County Sheriff's Department and Logan County EMS attended the scene.

Wilson was issued a citation for improper lane usage. Illinois State Police conducted the crash investigation.
