7-year-old male abducted in Lawrenceville

[JUNE 16, 2006]  SPRINGFIELD -- At the request of the Lawrenceville Police Department, the Illinois Emergency Alert System has been activated for an Amber Alert.

The Lawrenceville Police Department reported a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 8:12 a.m. Friday at 802 Maple in Lawrenceville. Jerimiah M. Evans was taken from his residence following a domestic disturbance between his mother and her husband.

Jerimiah is a white male, age 7, 4 feet tall, 68 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt with three stars and his name on it and red shorts. Jerimiah has autism and has been running a fever.

Eric Todd Kolehouse is a white male, 41 years of age, 5-foot-11, 240 pounds, with brown hair, mustache, goatee and brown eyes.

Kolehouse was driving a black and grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Illinois truck plate 4983ZH. He was last seen in the Lawrenceville area at around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Anyone with information to provide should call 911 and advise that they have an Amber Alert report.
