[JUNE 20, 2006]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Visitation and a memorial service for Marjorie McQuaid Tozun, 84, of Seaside, Calif., formerly of Mount Pulaski, will be on Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the church, and the service will be at 2, with the Rev. Frank Pieper officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Tozun died June 3, 2006, at 6:30 a.m. at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Monterey, Calif.

She was a homemaker

She was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Mount Pulaski to James W. and Wilma Drobisch McQuaid. She married William Hawk. She later married Mehmet Tozun in Riverside, Calif., on Nov. 10, 1963.

She is survived by her husband, of Seaside, Calif.; one daughter, Deana Ann (and Duane) Dingman of Latham; three brothers, Louran Dean McQuaid of Fort Worth, Texas, Gale (and Linda) McQuaid of Chandler, Texas, and Dale McQuaid of Hawkins, Texas; one sister, Mildred (and Jerry) Brown of Jefferson, Ore.; and her stepmother, Winona McQuaid of Hawkins, Texas.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and memorials may be made to the church.
