Late Tuesday morning a 25-year-old McLean man, Clint L. Gordon,
ran his Chevrolet Silverado pickup into the back of a Buick LeSabre
driven by Linda Stone. Both vehicles were eastbound on Woodlawn Road
at about Monroe Street when the impact began. Gordon continued to
drive, pushing the Stone car 700 feet down the road, and then drove
off when the car was out of his way. He was apprehended by Lincoln
police about a mile from the accident scene and charged with leaving
the scene of an accident.
Stone and her daughter Mary were treated and released at ALMH.
