Family movie night in Armington

ARMINGTON -- Everyone is invited to a family
movie night on July 14 at the Armington Park District building. The
classic movie "The Wizard of Oz," rated G, will be shown outside on
the east side of the building, so bring your lawn chairs or
blankets. Parents are encouraged to attend with children. The show
will start at dusk.

Popcorn and soda will be available for purchase. All proceeds go
toward the Harvest Day Festival in September. The event is
organized by the Armington Harvest Day Committee and sponsored by
the Armington Park District. In the event of rain, the movie will be
canceled.

Vendors, food booths wanted
The committee is looking for vendors and food booths for the
Armington Harvest Day Festival. The date is Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. to
6 p.m.
The sesquicentennial last year was a great success, but the
planners would like to add to it this year. If you are interested,
