LCHS group interp and contest play qualify for state          Send a link to a friend

[MARCH 20, 2006]  The Lincoln Community High School drama and group interpretation casts qualified for the state tournament this weekend on the campus of the University of Illinois Springfield.

The drama, "Proof," placed second. Two members of the cast, Lindsey Boerma and Tony Curcuru, made the all-sectional cast. The other two cast members, Kelly Lohrenz and Lincoln Moore, received votes for the all-sectional cast.

The group interp, "Love of a Pig," was named sectional champion and placed six in the all-sectional cast: Lindsey Boerma, Tony Curcuru, Lincoln Moore, Rachel Kasa, Ruth Ohmart and Rebecca Kasa. The other 11 members of the group interp also received votes. They are Todd Schumacher, Jill Patrick, Jairris Vermeire, AJ Wunderlin, Janel Filbeck, Hannah Snyder, Cameron Kurtz, Andrew Brinkman, Cody Follis, Kaylyn Engelhardt and Taylor Muck.
