Did you know? Cancer and leukemia patients are the No. 1 recipients
of blood. Because of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, they are
unable to form new blood cells. Blood transfusions help replenish
their bodies with fresh cells. You can help by donating blood.
Call Tara toll-free to sign up at 1-866-GIVE-BLD (1-866-448-3253),
ext. 56. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are certainly
welcome.
The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary along with the
Logan County Health Department and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
are sponsoring the November community blood drive.
