[NOV. 6, 2006]  Central Illinois Economic Development Corp. announced Thursday that it will help area seniors and disabled citizens with their Medicare Part D questions and enrollment.

As part of a grant from the Area Agency on Aging of Lincolnland, CIEDC will assist Logan and Mason County seniors and disabled individuals again this year by providing information and enrollment assistance with Medicare Part D and Illinois Cares Rx. Both plans help with prescription drug coverage for these individuals.

The enrollment period is Nov. 15 through Dec. 31. Eligible participants can switch plans during this period or sign up.

If you have any questions and reside in Logan County, please contact Kelly Allen, senior programs assistant director, at Community Action, 217-732-2159, ext. 244.
