Angels receive all-conference honors          Send a link to a friend

[NOV. 13, 2006]  The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference named three members of the Lincoln Christian College volleyball Angels to the SLIAC all-conference team.

Kari McFadden of Lincoln, a senior middle blocker, was named to the first team all-conference, while Kristina Cook of Lincoln, a senior opposite-side hitter, and Mindy Crawford of Lincoln, a senior libero, were given honorable mentions.

McFadden is the daughter of Kevin and Reva McFadden. Cook is the daughter of Norman and Joyce Cook, and Crawford is the daughter of Kevin and Becky Crawford. All three are graduates of Lincoln Community High School.

The three all-conference players, along with the rest of the LCC Angels, participated in the NCCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship tournament at the Laughlin Center on the LCC campus over Thursday through Saturday.
