Serena Tripplett receives Buehler Memorial Scholarship

[OCT. 6, 2006]  Lincoln College freshman Serena Tripplett, daughter of Jim and Linda Tripplett of Middletown, has been awarded the Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buehler Memorial Scholarship.

Tripplett, a 2006 graduate of Lincoln Community High School, is currently studying general education courses and plans to continue her education at a four-year university after earning an associate degree at Lincoln College.

The Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buehler Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a deserving freshman student who shows financial need and is in good academic standing. The award is made possible by the Buehlers' daughter, Dorothy Komnick of Emden, who is originally from Beason.
