[OCT. 6, 2006]  Logan County 4-H clubs recently participated in a 4-H window display contest throughout the county as part of National 4-H Week activities. This year's theme was "Make the 4-H Connection."

Participating clubs and display locations:
  • Atlanta Town & Country -- Teleologic Learning Company, Atlanta

  • Atlanta Ag -- Atlanta Grade School, Atlanta

  • 4 Corner Clovers -- Action Rentals, Lincoln

  • Chester 4-H -- Mission Mart, Lincoln

  • Cloverdale -- Tom Funk's law office, Lincoln

  • The Hollanders -- across from post office, New Holland

  • Middletown 4-H'ers -- Middletown Junior High, Middletown

  • The Pioneers -- Sew Many Friends, Lincoln

  • Wide-A-Wake 4-H -- The Awards Shop, Lincoln

Contest placings:

  1. Middletown 4-H'ers

  2. 4 Corner Clovers

  3. Chester 4-H

  4. Atlanta Town & Country

  5. Wide-A-Wake 4-H

In addition, there was a poster contest, and Rachel Skelton, a member of the Middletown 4-H'ers, was chosen as the winner. Her poster is displayed at Middletown Junior High School.
