Owl Prowls set          Send a link to a friend

[OCT 13, 2006]  DECATUR -- The Illinois Raptor Center will once again host its unique Owl Prowls, which include a guided hike at the Illinois Raptor Center property to search for Illinois owls. Owl Prowls are scheduled for Oct. 27 and 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 each evening. 

Participants get a close and personal look at six live Illinois owl species in their proper habitat and a chance to call in wild barred owls along the Sangamon River flood plain.

The cost is $15 per adult and $7.50 for students.

Participants should bring flashlights and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program.
