Salvation Army Thanksgiving food assistance opens

[OCT. 14, 2006]  Applications for Thanksgiving food assistance will be received, by appointment only, at the Salvation Army Keest Center, 307 N. Kickapoo, from Oct. 23 to Nov. 3.

To schedule those appointments, applicants must call the Salvation Army office, 732-7890, during the period of Oct. 9-20.

All applicants will need to appear in person at the appointed time with the following items:

  • Proof of income and expense for all adults in the household

  • Photo IDs for all adults in the household.

  • Social Security cards for everyone in the household.

Please remember that all applications must be made in person by appointment.
