A lifetime member of the Lincoln Christian Church, she has been
active in church activities, the Salvation Army, Rebekahs, the
Shriner organization and other volunteer work. She is the
mother of Thom J. Zimmerman, M.D., Ph. D., of Louisville, Ky.,
and the late Robert F. Zimmerman of Lincoln. Dr. Zimmerman, a
leading glaucoma expert, is emeritus professor and chairman of
the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and emeritus
professor of pharmacology and toxicology at the University of
Louisville School of Medicine.

 Rosemary has four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and
four great-great-grandchildren.
A family dinner in her honor will be on Oct. 28 at Rusty's
Clubhouse and Grill in Lincoln.
