FAN Club takes off at Olympia          Send a link to a friend

[OCT. 21, 2006]  STANFORD -- Olympia Middle School hosted its first FAN Club family activity night of the year on Oct. 13. Beginning at 6 p.m., students and their families gathered in the cafeteria for free hot dogs, chips and soda before heading over to the Olympia High School football game against Knoxville.

Even though the weather was cold, over 150 Olympia Middle School students and family members attended the event. School staff served the food and socialized with parents and students for an hour in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A number of door prizes were given away, and free passes to the football game were distributed to all who attended.

Thank you to all who attended this event, making it a success.

The next FAN Club event is tentatively scheduled for January, so look for more details to be forthcoming soon.

[Todd Dugan, principal, Olympia Middle School]
