San Jose United Methodist Church bazaar and supper

[OCT. 23, 2006]  SAN JOSE -- The annual bazaar and turkey supper at San Jose United Methodist Church will be on Nov. 1 in the church's fellowship hall, 600 S. First St. The bazaar booths will open at 3:30 p.m., and serving of the supper starts at 4 p.m.

Bazaar booths will feature a country store with homemade pies; baked goods; honey; bread; homemade candies such as caramels, peanut brittle, peanut butter balls, fudge and more; Rada cutlery; cookbooks; hand-woven rugs; quilts; comforters; cards; and many craft items.

The supper menu features roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, corn, green beans, salad, dessert, and drink. Carryouts will be available.

Advance tickets for dining in or carryout may be purchased from ticket co-chairwomen Jeane and Rachel Woll, 247-3272; from any member of the United Methodist Women; and at the door.

The church is handicapped-accessible, and the event is open to the public. For more information, call the church at 247-3232.
