Seminar on Illinois Cares Rx

The Illinois Department on Aging in conjunction with The Oasis will provide an informational seminar on the Illinois Cares Rx program, formerly known as SeniorCare or Circuit Breaker. The Department on Aging administers the Illinois Cares Rx program, which helps individuals within the established income guidelines with their prescription medications, licenses plates and property tax grant. Last year this program merged with the new federal Medicare Part D prescription plans, causing a little confusion for those in the program. Please come to the informational seminar to keep informed about your obligations and the requirements to continue to participate. The seminar is scheduled for Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. No reservation necessary.
