Band booster mum sale downtown on Saturday

[SEPT. 13, 2006]  The Lincoln Railer Band Boosters will sell mums this weekend as a fundraiser. Mums will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at a booth on the Kickapoo Street side of the square.

Cost is $5 each for the field-raised mums from Brown and Brown Farms of Macon County.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward purchasing a custom trailer for transporting instruments, equipment and uniforms to performances and competitions.
