The 2006 class of the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame includes former
student-athletes Caryn Brune-Goss, women's basketball, 1990-93; Jodi
Burch-Janse Van Rensburg, softball, 1992-95; James Duncan, track and
field, 1994-97; and Rickie Johnson, men's basketball, 1982-85; as
well as longtime supporter Dr. Jim Johnson, who will receive the
Campbell "Stretch" Miller award. The official induction ceremony
will take place on Friday at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington.
The banquet will begin at 7 p.m., following an hour-long reception.
The five honorees will also be recognized on Saturday during
halftime of the Illinois State-Eastern Illinois football game, which
begins at 6:30 p.m.

The class is the 27th in the history of the ISU Athletics Hall of
Fame, including the charter class of 1974. Wednesday is the last day
to order dinner and induction ceremony tickets, which can be
purchased by calling the Illinois State Athletics Department at
