American Business Club to host second annual Charity Golf Open          Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 14, 2006]  SPRINGFIELD -- The American Business Club is hosting the second annual Charity Golf Open benefiting the United Cerebral Palsy Land of Lincoln on Sept. 22 at Piper Glen Golf Course. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m., followed by a 12:30 shotgun start.

Prices are $500 per foursome, which includes carts, greens fees, lunch, beverages on the course, dinner and fabulous prizes. Proceeds from the outing will be used to purchase AmTrykes for children who need an adapted tricycle as well as to support UCP's programs for children. United Cerebral Palsy of Land of Lincoln provides services to over 1,200 individuals with various disabilities and their families. The organization serves 27 counties in Illinois, including major cities such as Champaign, Bloomington, Springfield, Jacksonville, Decatur and Quincy. UCP provides comprehensive services to children and adults: therapies, job training and placement, assistive technology, residential support, education, and advocacy.
