Chanute Air Force Base inaugural reunion   Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 14, 2006]  RANTOUL -- The first reunion of former Chanute Air Force Base personnel will be Sept. 29-30 at the Chanute Air Museum, formerly Grissom Hall or Hanger 4. All former military personnel and civilians are cordially invited to attend.

Registration and sign-in at the museum will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that Friday. Beginning at 5 p.m., there will be a pay-as-you-go social at the Caddy Shack, formerly the NCO Club.

On Saturday, registration and sign-in will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A pay-as-you-go social hour will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a sit-down dinner at 6. There will be a short program, followed by the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest performing big band, military, and rock-and-roll music.

Casual attire is appropriate for both evenings.
