[April 18, 2007]  Lincoln College Music Department will present its annual spring concert on April 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts on the college campus.

This year's program, "Ticket to Ride," features musical selections from the '50s to the '80s. The program will feature the songs "Soul Man," "Ticket to Ride," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and hits from the '80s movie "Footloose."

Lincoln College music instructor Tracy Koch, who directs the show, says there's something for all music lovers: "The fun title of the program says it all, with each musical era represented. The students have worked very hard this semester to produce a program that they are very proud of."

The concert is free and open to the public, but reserved seating is required due to the overwhelming response. To reserve seats, call 735-5050, ext. 280.
