Children's auditions for Lincoln Community Theatre's production of 'Honk!'          Send a link to a friend

[April 25, 2007]  Casting auditions for "Honk!" will be May 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. and May 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church Fellowship Hall, 402 Pekin St.

"Honk!" is a children's theater presentation, a musical about the ugly duckling.

The cast of characters covers second grade through high school. Characters are Ida, Drake, Beaky, Fluff, Billy, Downy, Maureen , Cat, Turkey, Henrietta, Greylag, Dot, Barnacles, Snowy, Pinkfoot, Grace, Bullfrog, Father Swan, Mother Swan, Penny, Bewick, Jay Bird, Farmer and the ensemble.

Scripts and scores are available for perusal at the Lincoln Public Library Carnegie Building two weeks prior to auditions. An accompanist is provided for the musical audition. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a musical selection.

Beth Anderson and Julie Kasa are co-directors of the Lincoln Community Theatre production.

"Honk!" will be presented July 6-14 at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts on the Lincoln College campus.
