Landfill to open Friday

Landscape waste only accepted          

[April 26, 2007]  The fire at the old city landfill is out and cleanup efforts are ongoing Thursday. The landfill will be open starting Friday at 8 a.m. The landfill is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. except Mondays.

Starting May 16 the landfill will be open only on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.

Only landscape waste is accepted. Anyone caught dumping anything else will be banned from the landfill.
