Wheat falls, corn and soybeans rise          Send a link to a friend

[August 01, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery dropped 6.5 cents to $6.31 a bushel; December corn rose 1.75 cents to $3.415 a bushel; December oats slipped 0.5 cent to $2.66 a bushel; November soybeans rose 9.75 cents to $8.575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.3 cent to 93.97 cents a pound; August feeder cattle dropped 0.27 cent to $1.167 a pound; August lean hogs dipped 0.02 cent to 73.2 cents a pound; August pork bellies lost 0.25 cent to 90.8 cents a pound.
