Agriculture futures are mixed           Send a link to a friend

[August 02, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Corn, soybean and oat prices sagged Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 6 cents to close at $6.36 a bushel; December corn fell 6.25 cents to end at $3.36 a bushel; December oats fell 2.75 cents to $2.69 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 8.75 cents to $8.4875 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 1.15 cents to end at 98.8 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 0.6 cent to $1.1745 a pound; October lean hogs 0.63 cent to 74.57 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1 cent to close at 89.6 cents a pound.
