Grains, soybeans rally on Chicago Board of Trade

[August 03, 2007]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures finished higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 5.75 cents to end at $6.4175 a bushel; December corn closed up 5.25 cents at $3.4125 a bushel; December oats rose 1 cent to $2.70 a bushel; November soybeans ended up 5.5 cents at $8.545 a bushel.

Beef futures ended lower and pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle dipped 0.65 cent to close at 98.15 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 1 cent to $1.164 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.13 cent to 74.7 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 2.3 cents to 87.3 cents a pound.
