Scrambles: slick as a greased pig

These big piglets are penned and ready to give the contestants a real challenge.


2007 Logan County Fair Queen Ali Robinson was on hand to congratulate scramble winners.   She even helped grease pigs.

 

And they're off..  The pigs got off to a slow start.  They were still trying to eat the Crisco that fell off.  The contestants, however,  were a blur of pig-catching activity.

This escapee from Fairview Farms was as big as the contestant who tried to catch him.
 

Catching 'em is one thing, getting 'em to wheelbarrow to the pen is another story.

A couple of pigs stalled, causing their captors exhaustion and exasperation.
